Need an office space to work, either for the day or even longer? Or perhaps a meeting room or somewhere to participate in a video conference?
Well that can now be done right here in 91原创 as Regus has opened a location at the 91原创 Business Centre.
Since being founded in Brussels, Belgium in 1989, the international company has expanded to more than 1,700 business centres in 100 countries with more than 1.5 million members.
It offers 85 furnished offices as well as nine co-working desks. There is also a 12-person boardroom and a six-person video conference studio.
There are Regus locations in Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Victoria and Kelowna.
鈥淲e had been looking at various locations in the Valley for some time,鈥� said Brianna Iverson, Regus鈥� area director for B.C.
鈥淲e really wanted to get somewhere across the bridge and in doing our research, 91原创 is such as growing community with everything from start-ups to large businesses there.
鈥淲e really felt getting into 91原创 would be a great benefit to the community and us as well, being able to reach all those clients.鈥�
The new location is located on the second floor of the 91原创 Business Centre, which is located at 8661 201 St.
It is right off Highway 1, which makes it easy for people to get to and from.
It opened in September and they held a grand opening celebration last week (Oct. 17).
鈥淕reat and convenient for people heading into 91原创, or for people in the valley who typically used to commute into Vancouver but now can stop into 91原创 and don鈥檛 have to drive all the way into Vancouver,鈥� Iverson said.
鈥淭hey have a professional place to work.鈥�
The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
鈥淢any businesses are choosing more flexible options rather than long-term expensive leases,鈥� Iverson said.
鈥淪o with us, there is no long-term commitment of big up front cost. Just walk in and start working.
鈥淪ince opening in 1989, it has just been growing exponentially. There is definitely a demand for this.鈥�
