91Ô´´ City's Legendary Waterfight welcomed on a hot Saturday

Organizers changed up the format but many still enjoyed splash afternoon

They came, laden with their spray guns, water guns, Super Soakers, goggles, and water blasters, to fill the Al Anderson Memorial Pool on a scorching Saturday afternoon for the Legendary Waterfight.

For years, 91Ô´´ City has held a splashy summer event. This year's theme was Wicked. Typically it's the kids (and kids at heart) in a water fight against City firefighters, but a fire department crew was unable to attend this year.

So the kids' nemeses this year were the lifeguard staff as they used every soggy weapon at their disposal to spray the grownups and each other on July 12 at the Al Anderson Memorial Pool.
