91Ô­´´ farmers’ market hosts Seed Celebration

The public can attend free Saturday workshops and hear from experts.

Learn all about seeds and seed saving at a free display Saturday during the 91Ô­´´ Community Winter Farmers Market.

The brings together vendors and experts so people can learn about the practice that is as old as agriculture – seed saving.

Stop by anytime between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the west building on the Kwantlen Polytechnic University 91Ô­´´ campus.

Workshops: 10:30 a.m. is on seed saving. 11:45 a.m. is an experts Q&A, and 12:30 is on gardening.

In addition to local seed vendors, the event includes a seed swap, a display by the KPU seed library, experts and resources.

And it’s free admission and free parking. This event is presented in partnership between LEPS (91Ô­´´ Environmental Partners Society), COHORTS, and Coast Capital Savings Library at KPU.
