91Ô´´ home one of 10 grand prizes in Hometown Heroes Lottery

A Willoughby townhouse plus furnishings, travel vouchers, vehicle, and cash make local package attractive

91Ô´´ remains a popular place to live, with literally thousands of new residents flocking to this community each year.

The fact that lottery prize homes are invariably locating in this growing and thriving community, also speak to its popularity.

That's the case again with this year's Hometown Heroes Lottery, which supports the VGH and UBC Hospital Foundations and BC's firefighters burn fund this spring.

One of nine of the grand prize homes is once again located in 91Ô´´, and again more specifically within the Willoughby area of town.

An 1,800-square-foot, three-storey townhome in the Willoughby Heights development  at 204 Street and 70 Avenue, is drawing a lot of attention for the lottery.

This four-bedroom, three and a half bathrooms, one car garage home, which will be available this August, is part of the APNA Group development.

The local prize package is worth more than $2.5 million, and in addition to the townhouse, it includes $45,000 in furnishing, $75,000 in Travel Best Bets gift cards, a 2025 Hyundai Sante Fe HEV, and $1.5 million in cash.

The 2025 Hometown Heroes Lottery offers 10 grand prize options, and the grand prize winner can pick from home in 91Ô´´ as well as new residences in South Surrey, Maple Ridge, Vancouver, the Okanagan, and Vancouver Island. All grand prize packages are worth over $2.5 million. The grand prize winner also has the option of choosing $2.2 million in tax free cash.

Ticket sales from the Hometown Heroes Lottery raise funds for specialized adult health services at VGH, UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, and Vancouver Community Health Services. They also support burn fund programs, such as the Home Away program, which offers accommodations to burn and trauma survivors at the Burn Fund Centre in Vancouver, mental health support for burn survivors and firefighters, as well as the annual burn camp for young burn survivors.

Three-pack of Hometown Heroes Lottery tickets for $75, seven-pack for $129, 21-pack for $300, and 40-pack for $500.

In total, there are 2,731 prizes to be won in this year’s main lottery, with a value of more than $3.2 million. To encourage early ticket buying, there are also more than 50 early-bird prizes.

All prize home packages are available to view at . And, tickets can be purchased online, by phoning 604-648-4376, or in-person at any London Drugs.
