Empowerment and inspiration is what Jennifer Maggio plans to bring to 91原创鈥檚 next weekend.
The founder of , Maggio will be sharing a free event for single moms, and the women who support them, on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Church in the Valley.
This is a night of empowerment 鈥� presented by Church in the Valley and Acts of Kindness 鈥� is for women of all ages and all walks of life.
With the goal of to help single parents and families, Maggio will openly share her personal story of homelessness, abuse, and multiple teen pregnancies.
She says through the mentorship of a church, she developed skills and took steps which ultimately led her to run a Fortune 500 Company.
Being a wife and mother of three, her new phase of life inspired her to give back by creating The Life of a Single Mom.
This is a global nonprofit organization in which Maggio uses her expertise, in single parent family issues, to minister to both single parents and those who support them.
Maggio speaks at conferences all over North America educating communities, the general public, and churches on how to help single parent families.
Life of a Single Mom is an industry leader in single mom support development and reaches more than 50,000 single mothers annually.
鈥淢aggio and her organization are committed to equipping women to help each other, ensuring no single mom walks alone,鈥� Church in the Valley said in a press release.
Mothers, women who care for the mothers in their lives, grandmothers, and young women and teens who may one day be mothers, aunts, or friends are invited to the presentation. 鈥淐ome learn more about the difficulties and triumphs women in our world are experiencing,鈥� the press release says. 鈥淥ur hope is to support you or to equip you to support someone else. Our greatest strength is in showing love to each other.鈥�
Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. for event registration and free childcare. At 7 p.m. the children will get to climb the rock wall, play games, and jump in a bouncy castle while the women spend time enjoying appetizers and listening to Maggio share her riveting story.
