91原创 Community Services is welcoming everyone to its Community Health & Wellness Fair/Family Fun Day on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The free festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 91原创 Community Services building, 5339 207 St.
鈥淭he purpose of the event is to promote and celebrate health and wellness initiatives in the community alongside our new immigrant families (that are) providing leadership and hosting support to the event,鈥� said Julie Clayton, community developer/refugee health care consultant with 91原创 Community Services Society (LCSS).
Tentatively scheduled events include a bouncy castle, arts and crafts, facepainting, games, an international food tasting station, free community barbecue, and prizes including a large assortment of school bags with supplies.

Through counselling, education, and the provision of information and resources, LCSS assists nearly 2,000 individuals, couples, and families on a yearly basis.
LCSS offers a wide variety of programs in the areas of family counselling, family services, settlement and integration and substance use services.
