Every Blizzard Treat sold on Thursday, Aug. 14 at DQ locations including several in 91原创 will support the BC Children鈥檚 Hospital Foundation.

The day will be part of the DQ鈥檚 23rd annual Miracle Treat Day, where the net proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold will help kids at 12 children鈥檚 hospital foundations across Canada.

In 2024, Canadian children鈥檚 hospitals recorded more than three million visits. Every dollar donated from Canadian DQ locations goes directly toward funding cutting-edge medical research, innovative treatments and comforting, child-focused healing environments.鈥

Dairy Queen Canada has partnered with the non-profit organization Children鈥檚 Miracle Network since 1984 and has since raised more than $55 million from Miracle Treat Day and other year-round initiatives.

In 91原创 City, people can visit DQ at 6131 200 Street or in the 91原创 Centre at 20300 Fraser Hwy. There is also a location at 20678 Willoughby Town Centre Dr. Walnut Grove residents have to 20177 88 Ave. In Aldergrove, the local DQ is located at 26930 Fraser Highway.

This year, Canadian hockey player Brad Marchand joined the campaign to raise awareness for the cause.

鈥淎s a dad, supporting children鈥檚 health, especially through Canadian children鈥檚 hospitals, is something I care deeply about,鈥 said Marchand.

鈥淏uying a Blizzard Treat may seem like a small thing but on Miracle Treat Day it鈥檚 part of something so much bigger,鈥 said Marchand.

People can visit MiracleTreatDay.ca to learn more about the campaign.
