Last week鈥檚 photo (inset) was of Laura Perry, born in 1874. Perry worked in the Shortreed store and post office before marrying James Shortreed in 1903. She died in Vancouver on Oct. 12, 1953, at the age of 79.
Contest rules:
Preference is given to 91原创 residents. Entrants must be 19 or older. The winner will be selected by a random draw of allentries. The contest is not open to employees of the 91原创 Advance nor Black Press.
Winner will be notified by email and must pick up the prize as offered at the 91原创 Advance office, 6375 202nd Street.
