VIDEO: 91原创 principals use cover tunes to deliver snow day messages

The principal of Dorothy Peacock Elementary took to Vimeo to send out a message that the school was closed Wednesday for a snow day. All Lower Mainland school districts have declared a snow day.

Singing local lyrics to the tune Green Day鈥檚 Time of Your Life, he encouraged students to get outside and play in the snow while they had the chance but that the school was closed because of the heavy snowfall.

James Hill Elementary principal Kendra Simonetto took the video as a challenge and posted her own song.

91原创 Memorial Hospital had been overfull during December, according to a statistical review. Occupancy of the hospital averaged 100.3 per cent for the 31-day period. The previous month鈥檚 occupancy had averaged 98.1 per cent.
