Day two of Ribfest was drier.
There were a few drops of rain in the morning, but nothing like the downpour that soaked the event when it began on Friday.
Saturday, RibFest was running until 9 p.m. (KidZone until 8pm) at McLeod Athletic Park at the northwest corner of 56 Ave. and 216 St. immediately north of the 91Ô´´ Airport.
Tomorrow, the last day, Sunday, Aug. 17 it will run from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. (KidZone until 7pm).
Featuring award-winning ribs, live music, and kid-friendly activities, the annual event, organized by area Rotary Clubs . is a volunteer-run fundraiser with all proceeds going to local charities and service projects.
Admission is by donation and encouraged at the entry gate – cash, debit, or credit card accepted.
Parking and all attractions in the event are free.
