An estimated 15,000, a record, turned out for the Fort 91原创 Jazz & Arts Festival.

This year's Fort 91原创 Jazz & Arts Festival drew a record 15,000 fans, organizers estimated.

They packed the Friday night Cool Blues Show at Fort 91原创 Park, danced to the sounds of top Canadian blues acts while enjoying food trucks, artisan vendors, and whisky tastings in the Angry Otter Lounge.

Throughout the four days of the festival, music lovers had a choice of three outdoor stages (the Conwest Main Stage, Youth Stage, and Arts & Culture Zone Stage) with roaming bands on the streets.

There were  free acrylic painting sessions, painting and art workshops for kids, Mehndi art workshops, and Indigenous cultural demonstrations including Indigenous flute, Eagle Dance, wood carving by Arnie Leon, storytelling and plant knowledge with Karen Gabriel, and dance performances by the Williams Family Dancers.

鈥淭his year鈥檚 festival was a true celebration of diversity, creativity, and community,鈥 said Karen Zukas, festival co-founder and executive director.

鈥淲ith the sounds and spirit of this past weekend still fresh in our minds, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone, the musicians, artists, our amazing summer students and crew, the operations and production teams, volunteers, supporters, donors, sponsors, collaborators, and partners, for an absolutely inspirational and unforgettable 2025 festival.鈥
