VIDEO: Spring shearing at Kensington farm

Spring shearing market at Kensington Prairie Farm at 1736 - 248th St. saw alpacas patiently enduring close hair cuts on Saturday and Sunday. 

Their wool will be used to make a wide variety of products. 

Kensington Prairie Farm is a working farm and home to Huacaya alpacas, Suri alpacas, llamas, camels, chickens, ducks, bunnies, pigs, and polled Hereford cattle.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be hourly alpaca information sessions, farm animals to visit, food trucks, and children's entertainment.
