Nine barbershop quartets from B.C. and Washington State come together to perform at the All Voices in Harmony Barbershop Quartet Festival Saturday, April 5, and the public is invited to enjoy the show.
The day of music, mentorship, and celebration takes place at West 91原创 Hall, 9400 208 St., and culminates in an evening performance.
"This festival welcomes quartets of all skill levels for a supportive and inspiring experience, culminating in an evening show open to the public," said festival co-director Leila Msadek.
The event will feature performances from the nine quartets, showcasing the unique artistry of barbershop a cappella singing. The evening will conclude with a special performance by The Squares chorus, the 2023 Evergreen District Small Chorus Champions.
鈥淭his festival is about more than just singing 鈥 it鈥檚 about bringing people together through the power of harmony,鈥 said Sean Huston, director of The Squares. 鈥淏arbershop music has a unique way of creating connections, and this event is a chance for quartets to share their craft in an encouraging and welcoming environment.鈥
The 7 p.m. show is open to the public, with admission by donation via Eventbrite (look for All Voices in Harmony) or at the door.
This event promises a night of lively, heartfelt performances, Msadek said.
