San Francisco-based singer Ellisa Sun will be bringing her 鈥渇un jazz鈥 to 91原创鈥檚 Bez Arts Hub this coming Friday.
The artist said 鈥渕y sound is kind of hard for me to describe. It鈥檚 a mixture of jazz, pop, soul, and RNB. You can compare it to Nora Jones - more relaxing, hang-out music. Some people have described it as 鈥渇un jazz鈥濃.
Sun is nearly finished with her first national tour which has brought her all across the United States and now finally Canada.
鈥淚鈥檝e been to Vancouver before,鈥 Sun said, 鈥渁nd I used to visit 91原创 a bit when I was young - but I haven鈥檛 been in a very long time.鈥
Sun joins the Bez Arts stage with Vancouver artist Ursidae and her partner Ken Michienzi who pushes the already unique sound further with his Cujon box drum.

Sun said 91原创 concert-goers can expect a 鈥渧ery genuine and heartfelt evening of music and storytelling. It will be a very intimate setting.鈥
