91原创 MP mark Warawa announced $90,000 in funding for a 91原创 facility that tests alternative fuel vehicles.
The Canadian Standards Association will get the funding to create a field test site to certify high-pressure hydrogen and compressed natural gas components for the auto industry.
The CSA will use the facility for destructive testing, including gunfire penetration, bonfires, and drop impact testing of items like hydrogen fuel cell containers.
The site will also allow certification services to local colleges and universities.
