Fort 91原创 Artist Group (FLAG) presents an Artist鈥檚 Choice exhibit, which runs to July 26 at the Flagstop Gallery in Fort 91原创鈥檚 Heritage CN Station.
鈥淚t is amazing to see how popular this site is with locals and tourists alike,鈥� said Margo Harrison, a 91原创 artist and founding member of FLAG.
鈥淔LAG loaned our gallery space to the 91原创 Camera Club for a special 鈥楻ailroad鈥� Show on Father鈥檚 Day weekend.
鈥淚t was a great kick off to celebrating the station鈥檚 100th birthday.
FLAG is now back in the gallery with two more shows to round out their season which ends on Labour Day.
鈥淎rtist鈥檚 Choice is always a fun show, as you never know where the inspiration is going to come from,鈥� said Harrison.
For example, she said, a day of boredom and bouts of insomnia inspired Kathleen Gate鈥檚 pieces.
鈥淔LAG鈥檚 newest member, Daphne Scaman, created some hilarious clay figures which started out to be fish 鈥� another happy accident in the wonderful world of art.鈥�
The public is invited to drop by and see what FLAG has to offer in its second show of the season.
The show is open weekends and stat holidays.
