Artwork by Dick Aporta was featured last year as part of the 91原创 Centennial Museum鈥檚 Foyer Art Program. Deadline for applications for the 2014-15 program is Oct. 24.

The 91原创 Centennial Museum is once again preparing to showcase the works of local artists through its Foyer Art Program, and invites artists to submit photographs of recent artwork, in any medium, for consideration in the upcoming 2014/15 program.

The Foyer Art Program gives artists the opportunity to exhibit their artwork in space available in the 91原创 Centennial Museum.

The location can accommodate between three and 10 pieces of art, depending on their size.

Although preference will be given to local artists, the program is open to artists from across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

The small site is best suited to exhibit two-dimensional artwork, although three-dimensional work may be considered.

鈥淭his is a great opportunity for artists, particularly new artists, to get some exposure in the community, and to also get some insight into the exhibiting process,鈥 said museum curator, Kobi Christian.

The museum plans to display the artists鈥 works in two-month time slots. Christian encourages artists to come by the museum for an entry form, or to download one from the museum鈥檚 website at museum.tol.ca/Exhibits/Foyer-Art-Exhibit.

Applications will be accepted by mail, email, or drop-off at the museum.

The submission deadline for applications is Friday, Oct. 24.
