FVDED memories: 'Early bird' tickets now sold for 2026 music fest in Surrey

Good vibes at the dance music gathering, which now has quite a history in Surrey where The Weeknd and Deadmau5 headlined the first one in 2015

"Super early bird" tickets are already being sold for next summer's FVDED in the Park music festival in Surrey.

No artists are yet announced for the 2026 concerts at Holland Park (July 3-4), but right now a two-day pass starts at $272.16 (general admission) and rises to $417.53 for a VIP weekend pass (worth the money if only for quick and easy bathroom access).

"FVDED 2025 felt like a dream," says . "The lights, the energy, the moments — you made it unforgettable. Let’s run it back next year."

In July, the 2025 edition of FVDED attracted close to 50,000 people over two days for sets by Dutch DJ Tiësto, German producer Zedd, Kaytranada, Disclosure, Black Tiger Sex Machine and dozens of other musicians who get the dance party started.

This fall, FVDED co-producer Blueprint Events will bring Montreal's Kaytranada to Rogers Arena on Oct. 16, mixing house, soul and hip-hop for another dose of the warm grooves that filled Holland Park back on July 4.

Tiësto was up next that Friday night, and he quickly got down to business with pounding dance tracks including an extended Silence, the 2004 hit he recorded with Vancouver's Skinny Puppy/Front Line Assembly guys (as Delerium) and vocals by Sarah McLachlan.

Truth is, with FVDED's focus on EDM (electronic dance music), I always felt the festival was a bit too young for my blood, as my tastes definitely lean toward guitar rock. But there I was, enjoying myself and the feel-good music of a younger generation.

The vibes were positive, friendly, welcoming for all ages.

"Not trying to be rude or anything, but can I ask how old you are?" said one polite dude wearing a colourful shirt as I navigated the FVDED grounds with my festival-going partner, Jilly.

The guy had to yell to be heard over the music of D.O.D. as he talked to another guy in a colourful shirt (me) who happens to be a grandpa.

"My mom might be the oldest person here," he yelled and motioned toward a woman standing next to him.

She smiled and nodded.

Grinning, he pressed for an answer.

"I'm not gonna tell you how old I am, but I suppose we're around the same age," I replied while trying not to sound rude.

More smiles.

"Hey, I love your shirt," yelled the guy before he and his mom turned and waded into the crowd of thousands.

The moment was typical of my night at FVDED, which is super loud (bring earplugs) and packed with people and also fun to attend with an open mind and colourful shirt that encourages compliments from people a third my age.

Smartly, I kept hydrated with Liquid I.V. electrolyte drink mix poured in bottles of water. It was pretty hot out there.

Even if you're not into the music, FVDED now has quite a history in Surrey, where The Weeknd and Deadmau5 headlined the first one, in 2015.

After a one-year break in 2023, , and nine years after the festival first launched in Surrey, 48,000 dance music fans filled Holland Park for the sold-out 2024 FVDED, with music by Swedish House Mafia, Kx5, Diplo and others. The 2024 fest represented a triumphant return to the park site for Blueprint Events and partner Live Nation Entertainment, and 2025 was more of the same.

Go ahead, check it out in 2026.
