For eight years there芒鈧劉s been a small community group based in McBurney Plaza that has provided a friendly place to stop in at and meet other members of the community.
You芒鈧劉ve Gotta Have Friends is now celebrating its eighth anniversary with a gathering Sept. 19 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The non-profit is dedicated to fostering inclusiveness of people of any ability. The group has gone out in the community and handed out flowers as an act of kindness, and most recently, created the Kindness Connect campaign.

Fun run
South 91原创 will see an odd assortment of people in costume this Sunday for the Campbell Valley Wine Run. The scenic 15 kilometre run goes from High Point Equestrian Estates through Campbell Valley trails to various local wineries.
The event raises awareness about local wineries as well as raising money for Critter Care Wildlife Society and the Pacific Riding for Developing Abilities.
There芒鈧劉s post-run entertainment and catering by Well-Seasoned. Taking part are Vista D芒鈧劉oro, Backyard Vineyeards, Township 7 and Domain De Chaberton.
There芒鈧劉s also wine prizes for the best constumed individual, best costumed team, and best surviving costume.

Agatha Christie芒鈧劉s The Mousetrap is being staged by 91原创芒鈧劉s own Ellie King through the Royal Canadian Theatre Company.
King has announced auditions Sept. 25 and 26. The paid roles include males and females in their 20s, 30s and 50s/60s. They must have professional level English accents. There is also a role for a 50-plus year old male with an Italian accent.

The play will be staged at the ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge March 17-21, 2015. Rehearsals being in January.
Since it芒鈧劉s from Agatha Christie, there芒鈧劉s a murder involved.
The play is set in 1950s Britain and takes place in the Great Hall of Monkswell Manor, a country guesthouse run by a young couple. The play opens with a murder and ends with a plot twist characteristic of Christie芒鈧劉s whodunits.
