They've dubbed it Acrylic Jazz at the Watershed.
Sunshine Coast artist Lori Morris will team up with 91原创鈥檚 Quintessential Jazz Band for an evening of Acrylic Jazz at the Watershed Arts Cafe tonight (Friday Nov. 25 at 7 p.m.
Morris is an established artist and custom home designer who paints bold Sunshine Coast inspired landscapes and seascapes in the medium of acrylic.

Her self-proclaimed" refreshing style of artwork is on display at the Watershed for the entire month of November.
Since she's long-time friends with members of 91原创鈥檚 Quintessential Jazz band, Morris will show her works to the sounds of live jazz.
鈥淲e plan on playing an evening of upbeat 鈥榠n your face鈥� jazz inspired by Lori鈥檚 vivid artistic style鈥� said bassist Gerry Teichrob.
鈥淲e have enjoyed the opportunity to play jazz on the Sunshine Coast for a few shows, we are happy Lori can come to 91原创 and share her work on our turf.鈥�

Quintessential Jazz Band has been a fixture in the 91原创 area since 2005 playing 鈥渃lassic jazz with a twist,鈥� Teichrob explained.
The other members of the band are Doug Dunbar on guitar and sax, Phyllis Heppner on keyboard, and Tyler Friesen on drums.
