Music meets science in 91Ô­´´

A Vancouver instrumentalist and inventor will be entertaining 91Ô­´´ kids with his "mad" scientist skills at local libraries this month.

Any the Musical Scientist is coming to 91Ô­´´ this month to entertain at the local libraries.

Andy the Musical Scientist is teaming up with Fraser Valley Regional Library to entertain kids this summer – including numerous stops in 91Ô­´´.

Andrew Kim is a Vancouver-based instrumentalist who has travelled the world amusing people with instruments he’s created from recycled items.

He describes his show as a meeting place for the worlds of music and science – using homemade, invented instruments, world music, and humour.

He’ll be performing at the Fort 91Ô­´´ Library Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m., at Murrayville Library on Thursday, Aug. 18 at 11 a.m., and the same day at Brookswood, at 2 p.m., at Walnut Grove Library on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 1:30 p.m., at 91Ô­´´ City Library on Monday, Aug. 22 at 2 p.m., at Muriel Arnason Library on Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 10:30 a.m.
