Some of the biggest names in country music will once again have their time to shine as Sunfest turns up the heat with their four-day musical festival at Laketown Ranch Music and Recreation Park starting July 31 and running through to Aug. 3.
Sunfest, where good music, and good times doesn't call it 'Quits' will kick off on Thursday with Ontario native Tim Hicks as one of the big draws who will be playing music from his newly released album Tequila Gold. Other artists who will be warmly welcomed on the first day of the festival include Pony Gold, Mark Ledlin, Chase Varnes, Courtney Hunt, Vince Vaccaro, the English Brothers, Jon Bond Band, as well as the acts Aambrosiaa, and the Coal Dust Gang who will both return to the stage on Friday.
Thank the county music gods its Friday. "Take It From Me" true country fans won't want to skip the Friday of great music with American country singer and songwriter Jordan Davis as the Aug. 1 headliner. Also turning up the heat will be Ashley Cooke, Vavo, Dawson Gray, Todd Richard, Jason Kirkness, Jaimesonrhy, as well as DJ Pauly and DJ Boitano who both both play the entire weekend.
It will be a true Satur-slay of country music for true fans of the genre who will want to be there come 'Hell or High Water' to see American country sensation Bailey Zimmerman. The talented acts joining him on Aug. 2 include Jaimesonrhy and Vavo returning to the stage a second time, Chase Rice, Todd Richard, Old Island Highway, DJ Sport Mode, the Zach Thompson Band, and Whiskey Business.
Sunfest puts the sun in Sunday as they celebrate the final day on Aug. 3. While it may not be a '21 Summer' it will certainly be one for country fans to remember as American duo Brothers Osborne take the stage when the 'Sun Ain't Even Gone Down'. The other acts who will be a ray of light to fans of the genre include Old Island Highway who will be ramping things up for a second time, Luke Lampard, Owen Riegling, Devlin, Thick as Thieves, the Harvey Hann Band, From The Earth, and Sawyer Brown. With the festival's "Goodbye's Kickiin' In' it will be a fantastic day of entertainment for all.
