The concert 鈥� taglined as 'the movement of our time' by global youth advocacy group Free the Children, which puts on the shows in arenas across North America and the United Kingdom 鈥� will be and will features performances and speeches from do-gooder celebrities like Orlando Bloom, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Nick Jonas, Shawn Mendes, Olympian Siklen Laumann, We Day vets Spencer West and Robin Wiszowaty, and of course the event's co-founders Marc and Craig Kielburger.
Over 20,000 students and educations from 700 schools around the province (and Yukon and Northwest Territories) will be in the stands at Wednesday's We Day. The concert is free of charge for all in attendance 鈥� seats aren't earned with cash but by volunteering and doing good, and worthy students are invited by Free the Children every year.
