Highway 1 was closed late Monday afternoon near Chilliwack due to a rollover crash of a single vehicle.
First responders were tending to the occupant of the vehicle, and an air ambulance was being dispatched at about 4:40 p.m. on March 3. The patient was reported to be conscious and speaking to first responders on scene.
The incident was in the westbound lanes, just east of the Yale Road West exit (109). While the westbound lanes were closed to deal with the crash, traffic was affected in both directions of the highway.
