Police say one man remains in hospital Monday, Jan. 8 after a stabbing in Fleetwood Friday night.
Two men were hurt in the incident and both are expected to survive, according to Surrey RCMP.
Police were called to a report of a stabbing in the 9600-block of 168th Street at approximately 11:05 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5.
Upon arrival, officers located a man 鈥渟uffering from a stab wound鈥� and a second man suffering from 鈥渙ther injuries,鈥� according to an RCMP news release distributed an hour and a half after the incident.
鈥淥fficers are speaking to witnesses to obtain information,鈥� the release noted. 鈥淎t this time it is too early to say what may have resulted in this incident.鈥�
On Jan. 8, Surrey RCMP Corporal Scotty Schumann said there are still 鈥渘o further updates at this point as (the) investigation is still unfolding.鈥�
