Kamloops Fire Rescue crews were working to clear mudslide debris in the city of Kamloops on the afternoon of July 19.
The city is asking the public to avoid the area while crews work to clean up the 900 block of Pine Springs Road in the Westsyde neighbourhood after a mudslide earlier in the day.
Storms continue to move through the area, after many days of significant rainfall and storm drains need to be cleared with more wet weather is in the forecast.
Residents in the area are being urged to stay out of their backyards while crews work in the area.
