An oversized load for a semi-truck took out "numerous" communications lines in Abbotsford on Tuesday (April 29), police say.
According to a news release from the Abbotsford Police Department, the incident caused extensive damage to the lines.
An over-height semi-truck in Chilliwack on Tuesday as well. Police say the incidents involve two separate trucking companies carrying almost identical loads from the same shipper.
The Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement team assisted on the scene and no injuries were reported.
It closed Clearbrook Road in both directions between South Fraser Way and Hillcrest Avenue. The road has since reopened.
