A pedestrian who was struck by a car in Surrey Saturday night is in serious, but stable condition.
Surrey Police Service's Traffic Unit members are investigating the collision, which occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday (March 22).
"As a result of the collision, a man was transported to a local area hospital by BCEHS in serious but stable condition," Surrey Police Service noted in an email.
The driver of the car remained on scene and is co-operating with police, they added.
Although the southbound lane of King George Boulevard was initially closed to traffic, it has since re-opened.
