B.C. Minister of Finance Brenda Bailey will be in 91原创 on Tuesday, May 20 to speak and take questions at a dinner meeting of the Greater 91原创 Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting will include an update from Bailey on her top priorities, before a one-on-one sit down with the Chamber to talk about recent government initiatives, tariffs, and B.C.'s relationship with the federal government after the recent election.
The dinner meeting runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Cost 91原创 City Hotel at 20393 Fraser Hwy., and tickets are $49 for members of the chamber, of $390 for a reserved table of eight people.

Bailey has a background both in non-profits, including working for the Canadian Cancer Society and Big Sisters of the Lower Mainland, and in technology, where she was the co-founder of two video game companies and was the executive director of DigiBC.
Since being elected in 2020, she has served in business and technology-related roles for the governing NDP, including as Minister of Jobs, Economic Development, and Innovation before she was named the new Minister of Finance in 2024.
