A pedestrian was hit by a car and seriously injured in 91原创's Brookswood neighbourhood on Wednesday night, police said.
The collision took place in the 208 Street and 44 Avenue area at 8:03 p.m., said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the 91原创 RCMP.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police closed down roads in the area while they investigated the cause of the crash.
As of Thursday morning, investigators did not believe the driver was impaired.
Anyone who was in the area at the time, especially those with dash camera footage, are asked to call the 91原创 RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file number 2025-23776, said Sharoom.
