Aldergrove man arrested for exposure

Police had man under surveillance for 25 days after getting complaint from 12-year-old.

Twenty-five days of covert surveillance has resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old Aldergrove man accused of numerous indecent acts, mainly exposing himself to girls.

Rollie Teodosio was in Surrey Provincial Court on Thursday, charged with three counts of committing an indecent act in a public place.

He was first put on the 91原创 RCMP radar after a 12-year-old  Brookswood resident made a complaint about a man exposing himself in November, 2012.

Over the next few months, several other similar complaints were received, said 91原创 RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Holly Marks.

A mini task force was struck where general duty, serious crime and street enforcement units collaborated and successfully identified a suspect.

The street enforcement unit completed surveillance, where other indecent acts were witnessed and recorded. The investigators recommended charges to Crown counsel, based on that evidence.

On Wednesday, Teodosio was arrested.

He doesn鈥檛 have any prior criminal history in B.C.

鈥淗undreds of investigational and surveillance hours have been dedicated to this very important file to ensure the safety of all 91原创 residents,鈥 said 91原创 RCMP Insp. Murray Power.
