Aubrielle Bibeau鈥檚 Christmas wish has come true.

Even before the Dec. 1 deadline, the seven-year-old budding artist raised $1,000 by selling her drawings through a Facebook page set up by her mom.

The money raised from the $5 drawings will be used to buy Christmas presents for sick kids at BC Children鈥檚 Hospital.

鈥淲e are so excited. We have received approval from Toys R Us that we will get a 10 per cent discount when we shop,鈥 said Aubrielle鈥檚 mom Lizsa.

They plan to go shopping this Saturday.

Aubrielle came up with the idea last year to sell her drawings to raise money for sick kids.

The Lynn Fripps Elementary student made around $800 in 2016. After going shopping and getting 124 gifts donated, they had a total of 185 gifts, which they brought to BC Children鈥檚 Hospital just before Christmas last year.

This year, Aubrielle wanted to bring a smile to even more children at Christmas time.

And she鈥檒l get to do just that. Aubrielle will deliver the presents with her mom and dad and meet some of the kids staying at Children鈥檚 Hospital.

The family is grateful to everyone who has supported Aubrielle鈥檚 wish and helped out kids who are in hospital.
