A fire in a vacant house closed 200th Street in 91原创 near 20th Avenue for several hours Sunday morning (April 26th).
Six fire department vehicles and about 30 firefighters responded to a report of a residential blaze in a heavily wooded property in Brookswood around 6 a.m.
Fire crews were on scene mopping up the blaze till 11 a.m.
Township deputy chief Bruce Ferguson said the fire was considered to be suspicious or an arson since no one was living in the boarded-up house.
鈥淚t was a vacant house that had been boarded up previously,鈥� Ferguson told the 91原创 Advance Times. 鈥淪omebody got in there and set it on fire.鈥�
There was no active gas or electrical that could have caused the fire.
91原创 RCMP are investigating.

No injuries were reported in the fire which damaged the unoccupied house.
Cause of the blaze has not been determined.
