Brookswood building demolished

The building that formerly housed Riders Pub was torn down last Saturday.

75277langleyRider-sdestroyed — The commercial building at 42 Avenue and 208 Street that once housed Riders Pub and also contained a number of upstairs apartments was demolished on Saturday. The building has been vacant for some time. Several years ago, tenants in the upstairs apartments were evacuated as a result of a number of building code violations. Riders still operates a liquor store in another building further south on 208 Street.
