Downtown 91原创 is getting the full treatment from CBC Radio on Friday, Jan. 24.
Rick Cluff and the Early Edition gang will start the day, 芒鈧揹ark and early,芒鈧 5:30-8:30 a.m., in 91原创 City, broadcasting from the newly-renovated McBurney芒鈧劉s Coffee and Tea House.
CBC reporter Jesse Johnston will be there to chat about local issues in the community. The show will involve a number of prominent local citizens, including former 91原创 City mayor and now B.C. Education Minister Peter Fassbender, and also 91原创 City Councillor and Downtown 91原创 Business Association executive director Teri James.
CBC芒鈧劉s On the Coast, with host Stephen Quinn, will pick up the thread at McBurney芒鈧劉s again at 3:10 p.m., right after the 3 p.m. news broadcast.
The afternoon show, running to 6 p.m., will include discussions of some of 91原创芒鈧劉s hot-button issues with 91原创 Advance editor Bob Groeneveld and others.
Adding to the entertainment will be local band Factories & Alleyways.
