Celebration of life for 91Ô­´´ teens will be held on Thursday

Public service in memory of Brendan Wilson and Austin Kingsborough is scheduled for May 16 at Christian Life Assembly

Brendan Wilson (front) and Austin Kingsborough were good friends and enjoyed many activities together. The Grade 12 students at 91Ô­´´ Secondary went missing after a canoe they were paddling capsized on Nicola Lake on April 21. Their bodies were recovered on Monday, May 6.

A public celebration honouring the lives of Brendan Wilson and Austin Kingsborough will be held on Thursday (May 16) at 91Ô­´´â€™s Christian Life Assembly.

It will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at 21277 56 Ave.

The pair, who were both 17 and attended 91Ô­´´ Secondary, went missing on April 21 after their canoe capsized on Nicola Lake near Merritt.

Their bodies were discovered on May 6.

Another memorial celebration event is scheduled for May 27 at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre.
