Two crashes in less than two hours caused considerable traffic congestion on Highway 1 through 91原创 on Tuesday morning.
A two-vehicle crash, reported at 8:38 a.m., slowed eastbound traffic to a crawl just before the 208 Street overpass.
Two vehicles were involved and one ended up in the ditch.
Police were called to the scene after it appeared one of the drivers had fled.
There were no reports of serious injuries.
Less than two hours later, at 9:51 a.m., another crash on the highway near the 200 Street overpass sent one person to hospital in an ambulance.
The extent of their injuries wasn鈥檛 known.
