Angie Quaale, 91原创鈥檚 2013 Business Person of the Year, has formally announced her intention to run for a seat on the Township of 91原创 Council.
Quaale has been a tireless community booster for many years and will run an optimistic campaign with the theme 鈥淎sking good questions that lead to positive results.鈥�
鈥淚 love this community,鈥� said Quaale in a kick-off message posted to her campaign鈥檚 Facebook page today.
鈥淥ur Township is an outstanding place to live, work and play, and I鈥檓 passionate about making it even better.
鈥淎s a new councillor, I think I can serve you best by asking good questions that lead to meaningful discussions and positive results. By that I mean questions that open our community up to new opportunities and ideas.鈥�
Quaale鈥檚 campaign will focus on three key areas: agriculture, transportation and economic development. In her message she shared what she sees as the most important questions facing the Township: 鈥淗ow can we build on our strengths in food production and land use as the agricultural centre of the Lower Mainland?
What can we do to improve transportation within the Township so we can all get around more easily? How can we maintain the right balance between residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial development so we can grow in ways that preserve our great quality of life?鈥�
Quaale promised voters that as a councillor she will 鈥渂ring an open mind, ask thoughtful questions, and work on your behalf to find answers that lead to positive results. I believe there are so many ways to make the Township an even stronger, more successful community.
