91原创 City Councillor Rosemary Wallace has announced via Facebook that she is running for one of the five 91原创 Township seats on 91原创 Board of Education.
There are at least two vacancies on the board, as incumbent trustees Wendy Johnson and Cecelia Reekie are not running again. Both were elected in the Township.
Incumbent Township trustees Megan Dykeman, Rod Ross and Alison McVeigh have told The Times they are running again, and newcomers Kristine Ketter, Lorraine Baldwin and Lisa Moore have also announced they are seeking seats in the Township.
Wallace's Facebook post did not say whether she is also running for council in 91原创 City again. There are no restrictions on running for both a council and board of education seat in a municipal election.
Neither of the two 91原创 City trustees, Rob McFarlane and Candy Ashdown, have announced their intentions yet.
