Due to the heavy rains, an extreme weather alert has been issued for by the Salvation Army Gateway of Hope in 91原创, which will be offering extra spaces for homeless people to sleep.
The advisory, issued by Cristina Schneiter for the shelter at 5787 91原创 Bypass, is in effect until further notice.
鈥淚f you are sleeping outside, please come to the safety of the shelter,鈥� the announcement said.
鈥淚f you require shelter assistance after 9 p.m., call the 91原创 RCMP at 604-532-3200 and they will help you to a location,鈥� the announcement said.
