Halloween may be over but one Fort 91原创 resident wants to keep the fun going this Friday, Nov. 3.
The farm owner happens to be a professional pyrotechnician who is putting on a 鈥榩retty spectacular鈥 fireworks show from his acreage at 9100 block of 222 Street at 8 p.m.
鈥淗e has taken out all the proper permits and his neighbours have all been notified. It鈥檚 going to a be pretty spectacular event and should last about 30 minutes,鈥 said Township assistant fire chief Pat Walker.
So if you are in 91原创 and hear fireworks or are lucky enough to see the light show, the Township fire department knows about it, said Walker.
Fireworks are banned in both the Township and City for several years. However, if you apply and pay for the proper permits, you can put on fireworks.
Since banning fireworks and firecrackers, mischief fires have been way down on Halloween night.
