Funeral arrangements for longtime 91原创 teacher and principal Norm Sherritt have been announced.
Mr. Sherritt died on Aug. 16, at the age of 92.
He was renowned in 91原创 for his 40 years as a teacher and principal at Fort 91原创 Elementary, 91原创 Secondary and Aldergrove Secondary.
He also was well-renowned for his knowledge of 91原创鈥檚 early days, and was a much-consulted source for local historians.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Newlands Golf and Country Club, 20125 48 Avenue, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Donations in his memory can be made to the 91原创 Scholarship Committee, in the name of the N.A. Sherritt trust, Mrs. M. Pepin, 25323 12 Avenue, Aldergrove, B.C. V4W 3N2. The committee hands out scholarships to high school graduates.
