On one of Christianity鈥檚 most holy days, hundreds gathered in Fort 91原创 today (March 25) to reflect on and celebrate the story of Jesus, the Cross, and Easter.

Hosted by the churches of Fort 91原创 (Fort 91原创 Evangelical Free Church), Living Waters Church, The Parish of St. George 鈥� Anglican Church of Canada, United Churches of 91原创 鈥� St. Andrews, and Wagner Hills Ministries, Fort 91原创鈥檚 Good Friday Walk: Stations of Holy Week has been held every Good Friday at the Village for more than 20 years.

During the outdoor, moveable service, worshipers took turns carrying a cross to locations around downtown Fort 91原创.

鈥淭ogetherness is a hallmark of Christian faith,鈥� read the notes in the service鈥檚 handout. 鈥淭he churches of Fort 91原创 aim to love and celebrate one another in an effort to reflect our oneness with Christ. We express togetherness through serving the community of Fort 91原创, hosting ecumenical events, and prayer. This year鈥檚 service broadened, becoming 鈥淪tations of Holy Week鈥� - a recognition of both Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday in the opening and closing stations, respectively.

鈥淭he majority of the stations reflect events which occurred on Good Friday surrounding Jesus鈥� suffering and death,鈥� explained Living Waters Church associate pastor Luke Knight, the chief coordinator.
