Guns turned into 91原创 detachment

Gun amnesty has seen 13 firearms turned in locally, and more than 600 throughout B.C.

 

So far, 13 guns have been turned into the 91原创 RCMP through the BC Gun Amnesty.

According to Const. Craig van Herk, police have picked up 12 and an officer was on his way to get another one on Wednesday.

Around 600 firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition have already been turned in to RCMP detachments across the province so far. People can call the detachment and have an officer pick up unregistered firearms and ammo until June 30. All the guns and ammo are destroyed. Do not bring guns into any detachment. Call the 91原创 detachment non-emergency number at 604-532-3200 if you have an unwanted firearm you would like to dispose of.
