Richmond Councillor Harold Steves, who was instrumental in the formation of the Agricultural Land Reserve as an NDP MLA in 1972, will be guest speaker at the final Green Wednesday event at Kwantlen Polytechnic University鈥檚 Langlay campus, on Wednesday, April 9.
The movie 鈥淕MO OMG鈥 will also be shown. The event runs from 7:15 to 10 p.m. at the 91原创 campus.

Steves runs an 11-acre farm on the original Steves homestead in Steveston and is an ardent defendcer of the ALR. He also serves as vice-chairt of Metro Vancouver鈥檚 planning and agriculture committee.
