A 91原创 beauty salon will be the location of the second annual 鈥淲e鈥檙e Here To Help鈥 event for the needy organized by the .
There will be hot chocolate, coffee as well as clothing and other necessities for people in need at the Dec. 10 afternoon event at L鈥檃mour de soi on Douglas Crescent in 91原创 City.
鈥淚鈥檓 happy to be a part of this,鈥 said L鈥檃mour de soi owner Courtenay Smith, who has previously organized makeovers for female residents of a homeless shelter.
Foundation head Augustino Duminuco, a 91原创 resident and construction company CEO, said the offer by Smith means he can bring the event back to his hometown.
Duminuco also thanked business sponsors Tays Cedar Products, We Do Recover towing, Shooter Liquor store and Zone Garage B.C.
The first 鈥淲e鈥檙e Here To Help鈥 was organized by the 91原创 resident on Dec. 10 of last year on Hastings Street in Vancouver, and provided food, clothing and other necessities for about 200 people.
Since then, Duminuco has incorporated the foundation as a registered non-profit 鈥渄edicated to giving back to our community and providing those in need a hand up.鈥
Duminuco said the 91原创 City event has enough volunteers, but 鈥淚鈥檓 still looking for donations (Clothing, canned goods, gift cards, blankets).鈥

The foundation also announced it has selected three low-income families for assistance over the holiday season, with more details expected to be announced in early December.
