For those interested in 91原创 politics, there are few better brains to pick than those of local newspaper editors.
91原创 Advance editor Bob Groeneveld, along with 91原创 Times editor Frank Bucholtz, will take part in a conversation with Kristine Simpson, the Greater 91原创 Chamber of Commerce president. The event is Nov. 12, as part of the chamber芒鈧劉s monthly dinner meeting.
This event is a first for the chamber, said executive director Lynn Whitehouse.
It was inspired by one of the most popular events at the B.C. Chamber of Commerce芒鈧劉s annual meeting 芒鈧 The Cutting Edge of the Ledge.
It features seasoned legislative reporters on provincial politics.
With civic elections just days away, the chamber wanted to host an event about politics, both recent and historical.
芒鈧揑t芒鈧劉s going to be a conversation, very informal,芒鈧 said Whitehouse.
Simpson will have a number of questions and topics.
芒鈧揑t芒鈧劉s going to be a very friendly thing,芒鈧 said Whitehouse.
The editors have decades of experience covering politics.
芒鈧揑 think politics in 91原创 has always been a nasty business,芒鈧 said Groeneveld.
With two 91原创s, there芒鈧劉s always something going on, he said. When the City is quiet, the Township will take up the slack or vice versa.
The dinner is at the Cascades Casino ballroom starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 for chamber members and $50 for non-members.
