Members of the 91原创 Lions Club stopped by the 91原创 Christmas Bureau to present a cheque for $9,000 鈥� the proceeds from their 2012 Christmas Kettle campaign. The Lions club will be out in force again this year at two locations, Buy Low Foods in Brookswood and the Save-On Foods store on 64 Avenue in Willoughby.
Kettle Campaign co-ordinator Rhonda Buchanan shares the role with Barb Forcier. 鈥淲e have club members and volunteers manning the two locations on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays up to Dec. 22. 鈥淲e also have some of our 鈥榢ids in training鈥� help out and they give out packages of reindeer dust to sprinkle on the lawn to help Santa find his way,鈥� said Buchanan.
