The Magic of Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday, Dec. 7, starting at 6 p.m. in downtown 91原创.
Get your spot early. Parade route starts at Fraser Highway and 56 Avenue, past 203 Street, onto the one way, ending at 206 Street.
Before the parade, a choir is singing on the newly refurbished McBurney Plaza. The Magic of Christmas Parade features more than 50 entries consisting of festive floats, bands, decorated vehicles, dance troupes, equestrian groups, and community groups.
Following the parade, everyone is invited to the Douglas Recreation Centre, 20399 Douglas Cres., where they can watch the lighting of the Christmas Tree (scheduled for 7:15 p.m.), and enjoy live entertainment, hot chocolate, crafts, ice sculpting, and more.
