Mission RCMP are on the lookout for a 鈥渇elonious face-painter鈥� who allegedly shoplifted from a local store with a painted moustache.
According to a news release, the manager of a store that was recently targeted by shoplifters noticed a 鈥渟uspicious鈥� person loading items into a laundry basket.
鈥淯ltimately, the fact that the person was wearing a disguise was the real giveaway that something wasn鈥檛 right,鈥� RCMP said.
鈥淭his wasn鈥檛 just any old balaclava, wig, or other run-of-the-mill disguise either鈥his person put some real effort into concealing their identity 鈥� a hand-drawn moustache.鈥�
The suspect fled the area after a confrontation with the manager and wasn鈥檛 found.
RCMP say the search for the unidentified man continues.
